From Global Women Qatar to Where Women Connect! What’s the story? Let me tell you!

When I moved to Doha, Qatar in 2010 and the hosting of the World Cup being announced two months later I knew I was in a magical place. Doha was booming! At the time I was working with a large corporate organisation but I knew I had to be out there. When Danielle and I met at one of the many networking events we instantly hit it off, resigned from our jobs and jumped into the world of recruitment, supporting the fast growing market with female talent. We helped countless women to find a job in Qatar, and with that a thriving community of like-minded women grew to what Where Women Connect is today – a global hub thriving with women from all walks of life, backgrounds and dreams.

What started as an employment agency and what we are still today, has grown into a thriving network for women to grow in your personal and professional lives – to connect, learn, grow and where you can just be you.

My PASSION PROJECT

Where Women Connect is my passion project, as I totally love connecting women and see the magic happening. Where it’s all about you! About what makes you tick, about your dreams, about what you want to get out of your life and to feel happy. Where you feel you belong, feel heard and seen.

I firmly believe in working together by creating collaborations and partnerships. Together we have so much wisdom and knowledge to share, and by building our global hub we help each other grow. Where Women Connect is my cosy space where I can be in my flow with you and where we genuinely support and cheer each other on – a warm and welcoming community for you to feel at home and at ease to take yourself to the next level.

A little background information, I was born and raised in the Netherlands but have always been a global wanderer with a passion for travel and adventure and lived in different countries such as Germany, the UK, Qatar and now between Doha and Lisbon, Portugal! My career went from being a Marketing Executive at a global Japanese brand, to a flight attendant flying around the world, to a Client Relations and Business Development Manager to an International Consultant at large corporates to becoming an Entrepreneur in Recruitment and Community Building and my own fashion brand. Boom!
