And, many women out there have this entrepreneurial spirit but haven’t taken the leap yet. To actually do so and to know how, we want to hear your story that’ll inspire these women!
Introduce yourself
Hi, I’m Yuliia! Born and raised in Eastern Ukraine, I left the country for good when the war started. After living in several European countries, I heard a call of the ocean and came to Lisbon. That’s the beginning of my love story with this city, but let’s not go deep into details for it’s too cheesy.
My fetish: CouchSurfing! It is an app that matches travellers and locals and allows travellers to find hosts in different countries. You got it right, I like staying in stranger’s houses 😁 I love welcoming guests as well.
What or who inspired you to become a business owner?
It is something I always wanted, but it took time to discover this “want” and to believe in myself. The idea of business used to scare me, especially in the tech field. However, I like things that scare me, so it was a match.
I quitted finance and went to pursue an entrepreneurial path, and this journey later became an inspiration for my current company, NoDress.Code.
What product or service do you offer?
NoDress.Code is a young initiative: we kicked-off the first cohort in March and now participants are finishing their first products.

What is your company’s mission and your goals?
Our mission is to diminish the entry barrier for women in tech, and help more girls to find a purposeful and fulfilling future.
How does your service or product help other women?
NoDress.Code helps women without technical background to build digital products and fulfill their entrepreneurial dreams. How? With the help of no-code tools. These are like website constructors, but for apps. With weekly modules and lectures, we take ladies step-by-step from their product idea to launch
